Marty Blatt worked for the National Park Service for nearly a quarter of a century in Lowell and in Boston. He then taught public history at Northeastern University in Boston. he is a former president of the National Council on Public History.
He will talk about his experience working for the park service, how it has dealt with the issue of slavery in places like Lowell, and will take a critical look at "Unfinished: America at 250," a partnership of historical and cultural institutions, National Park Service sites, historians, and changemakers.
