Ernest “Ernie” Butler has passed!

It is with great sadness that we’ve learned of Ernie’s passing on Sunday, September 13, 2026. For many years, Ernie was a familiar and much loved presence at our AI events and an indelible part of the curriculum at LMU’s Amerika-Institut.
