Biographie

Talitta Reitz is a landscape architect, urban planner, researcher, and doctoral candidate. Her curiosity for sustainability and design emerged while growing up in Curitiba – the “green capital” of Brazil. Moving to Los Angeles, she earned a master’s degree in landscape architecture and urban planning from the University of Southern California, as a part of a Brazilian scientific mobility scholarship program. In the past three years, she held a Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellowship as an early-stage researcher, investigating community engagement across multiple European countries. Currently, Talitta is a Ph.D. candidate in environmental humanities at the Rachel Carson Center for Environment and Society, LMU, Munich. Her doctoral research focuses on the environmental history of bicycle cities, exploring the relationships between cycling cultures, urban landscapes, and transportation planning.
